Gene Chip Laboratory
Placing your cursor over the picture and holding down the button allows you to see a 360 degree tour of the area. By pressing the "shift" and "control" keys, you can zoom in and out of the frame.
Not recommended for use with dial-up modems.
This lab space houses the university core facility for microarray analysis, utilizing the Affymetrix GeneChip® 3000 platform. This lab consists of the GCOS 3000 scanner, fluidics station 450, and hybridization oven 640. In addition to the microarray instrumentation, this room also holds equipment for Beta and Gamma emission quantification used to evaluate metabolic activity in radiolabel tissues.
